Fairies.....

This pic was taken about almost 3 months ago when we were in Gold Coast. Taken by Mr J.Y. of course. The OZ kids here love Face Painting stuff so my daughter wanted to give it a try. During the first encounter with the make up artist, Intan cried because she was not used to be with other people and of course OZ people ('orang putih lah katakan, kanak-kanak pun takut'), so I have to accompany her and she hold my hands tightly. So, here is the end product.......

Brother and Sister

The feets of Intan Suraya Puteri and Mohammad Izz Zahiruddin (3 years old). They loved each others but sometimes they fight with each others too. Growth and development of children. Do you agree?

The Feet.

This is the feet of my daughter, Intan Suraya Puteri. She is 5 years old. She likes to pose in front of the camera. She even knows how to take photos from my digital camera and DSLR. I just wanted to try something new here.

Carraway Pier Menu

This is the menu from Carraway Pier Restaurant. Fish and Chips...... my kids loved it. Sometimes if too much of this kind of foods makes me want to vomit ('kelangguan'). I missed Bruneian foods..........

Queensland University of Technology

All these pictures were taken by Mr.J.Y. a Bruneian Photographer while he was here in Brisbane for 2 weeks. This university is situated in Kelvin Grove suburb. My apartment (The Village Centre) was only less then 10 minutes walk.

Construction in progress

This is the future student accomodation in Queensland University of Technology in Kelvin Grove. I hope it will be complete by 2008, so maybe who knows I can rent one of the room before I complete my study by mid 2009.

Australian House

Along Victoria Park Road, a few antique looking houses were build here. This one is my favourite. Its wooden fence and entrance looks so amazing.

Ru? anybody knows the name?

Okay... what the heck is this... I asked 'bapanya', he have no idea at all... is it Ru? is it Casuarina? we were walking along the golf course area today and found a few big trees which looks like casuarina... but of course it is not. I am not good at identifying trees.

The Van A.K.A The Scooby Doo Van

I adored this van because it looks like the van in The Scooby Doo cartoon. The Australian advertisement (Bigpond Telstra) also used this kind of van but the colour was blue actually. I saw this van almost everyday when I walked to the university in the morning. Sometimes I tried to sneak around the van and looks what inside the van. There will be a mattress, a few pillows and small cabinet with a hot plate on it. Maybe the person who own it sleep here.

The Pathway

Around 4 pm as usual, all of us went out to the park. Then 'bapanya' decided to go to the other side of The Village Centre. We went along the pathway of Victoria Park Road. I was trying to take this potrait pic... lots of things to learn and to practice though...

Flora of Kulgun Park

Saw this flowers when we were in Kulgun Park. Small bushes actually, but when I went near it, it have small flowers. Stranged but very beautiful. I loved it.

Botanic Garden, Brisbane City

Two weeks ago, me and the kids went to Brisbane City. We stopped over Botanic Garden near my university (QUT). The kids were so excited because there we many birds in the garden. I took a few photos and here is the outcome. I am still learning how to take photos with my DSLR.

Pods

My kids used to collects this things in Kulgun Park and I managed to take photos of it, and among all this is the best pic.

Flowers

Taken with the lens kit of my second hand Canon 300D. Wish that I have my own macro lens.

Kulgun Park, Carraway Street

Happy family, Mr Ishak, Little Intan and Little Azib... my beloved family.

South Bank Parkland

Little Creature

This little creature was creeping along the flowers bushes, the kids saw it at first, then all the grown up flockings around it and take photos of it. Very good at modeling ehhh... he didn't even move a bit, just stay there quietly and once in a while changed his head position. Very cute... but scary... for me..

Pagoda House

This is the Pagoda House, very nice place.

Victoria Bridge

This is Victoria Bridge, if we go to Garden City, Stone Corner, Cultural Centre and the Museum, the bus will go thru this bridge. This bridge connected from South Bank and Brisbane City. Most tourists will walk along the bridge and take photos from the centre of the bridge. Very good view indeed from there.

South Bank Parkland

These views are from South Bank Parkland, looking at Brisbane City.

My First Macro

I wanted to try something new today... in Brunei Forever Forum, everyboday was taking about macro photograpy. It makes me a bit jealous... and I pity myself because I only have my lens kit. So, I try my best to take a few macro photo of a flower... just around the corner of The Village Centre apartment....

Queensland Museum South Bank

Today, we went to Brisbane City, me, Intan and Azib. 'Bapanya' was at home... a bit stress hehehe, anyway, jalan punya jalan, sampai menyeberang jambatan sampai lah kami ke Museum di South Bank... so here are the pics...
