So ani lah outcomes gambar yang ku dapat....

2007 in Memories

Phew..... the year of 2007 is ending soon... and will come the year 2008. So many things had happened this year... good and bad, sad and happy.... I am glad that I am still standing strong. I have been in Brunei for almost 6 weeks now. So another 5 weeks to go before going back to Brisbane. Happy and sad... hehehe... anyhow, I spend most of my time with my families, both families in Kg Salambigar and also Kg Bukit Udal, Tutong but 80% is more to Salambigar side.
As far as I can remember in the past 6 weeks, I had been to Blue Eden, my first time ever meeting the Brunei Forever Forum members. Feel a bit 'Hawar & Galat' but luckily the people are so friendly. Then my second meeting was at Jing Chew, Gadong. It was fun and a very good experience for me, because there I listened to their talk/stories/discussions.. etc.
This year Hari Raya Aidil Adha, I spend the Hari Raya Eve in Tutong then the actual day in Salambigar. It was really fun. I took many photos of my family members. Then I realized that I kind-of-like to take people potrait (lurus kah tuuu cakap ku?!). My models were my nieces.... 2 beautiful nieces Syaza and Umi. Thanks kiddo.... thanks for being my 'mangsa' hehehe... I mean models for me to practice my photography. Then during Christmas day, I spend my time with my family from Tutong and spend our day at the beach in 'Pantai Muara'. Its been a long time since I had my kids... spending the whole day on the beach. Very hot meeehhh..... cannot 'tahan' the weather. Sun burn yoooo....
Well..... I guess... thats all for now. I better post some pics now ('itu pun jikalau tidak lagging lagi internetnya...'). I have so much fun in 2007.... I learned new things.... now I am still thinking what is my new 'AZAM' for the year 2008... ;)

My Hari Raya celebration in Brisbane...

Hi... its been a while since my last update. Anyway, celebrating my Hari Raya here in Brisbane is a bit sad... but not so sad as last year (thats was my first ever hari raya away from the family), I cried for almost 3 days... anyway, this year is much better, even tough I was alone here but I managed to be as happy as I could. The good things, I haven't shed any tears..... The first day of Hari Raya, I was online (MSN) having a webcam conversations with hubby, the kids, my in-laws, my nieces and nephews, my parents-in-laws, my two grandchildrens and a few friends who had come to my parents-in-law's house.
I wasn't that excited.... but seeing them really makes me feel good and happy. Unfortunately my spouse is not an IT person, so it is kind of a 'big' things for me to have a webcam conversation with him. Anyhow, that is our life... just carry on at what ever knowledge or speciality that you have in your self.
Since Hari Raya... I had attended four Hari Raya Open House... the first open house was at Hj Rahim & Shamilah, in School Street, Kelvin Grove. Good foods indeed. Luckily her parents were here for almost a month. Shamilah's mom is really good in cooking. I loved it. Then the second open house was in South Bank, Brisbane. It was the home of DK, Mahani and Amir. So many people came there, and it was really fun, full of energetic young people (most of them seems to be 8 to 10 yrs younger then me). Then, I was invited to Ali & Dinah in Cathedral Place, Fortitude Valley. Good foods.... Kak Dinah cooks really well... I love her 'Daging Rendang'. Tonight, was invited again to Malik & Rozi open house, in School Street, Kelvin Grove. So many good close friends coming tonight. We enjoy eating the 'lamb'... special menu 'Sup Hati Buyah + Berubut' (Mahal tuu..!!).
Now... as I am going to move out from my apartment, I have started packing my things. So, I hope by tomorrow I can start sending some of my boxes to my friend's apartment. She lived the next floor. We will share the rent for the time being.
Exam is around the corner. My first paper will be on the 3rd November and it is about Mental Health. Then second paper will be on the 10th November and it is about Medical and Surgical then the last paper will be on the 17th November, which is about Bio-Science 2. On the 19th till 30th November, I am going to have my second clinical practice in Royal Brisbane Women Hospital and I will be working in one of the medical ward.
After the clinical practice over... I will be going home to Brunei on the 3rd December, at 1.30 am. So, thats mean, by Sunday night I will have to be at the airport about 10 pm. I will arrive in Brunei about 6.30am.... then... that will be another story.....

Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri.. Maaf Zahir dan Batin

(From Left: Me, Intan, Azib and Along)

Dalam Kerendahan Hati
Ada Ketinggian Budi
Dalam Kemiskinan Harta
Ada Kekayaan Jiwa
Dalam Kelembutan Lidah
Ada Ketelanjuran Kata
Dalam Gurau Senda
Ada Khilaf Dan Dosa
Selamat Menyambut Hari Raya Aidil Fitri
Semoga Kita Semua Di Rahmati

Suara hati ku....

Having a 6 days holiday in Brunei is not enough especially when I have been out of the country for almost 8 months. I wish I could spend more times with my families especially during the Ramadhan and the Hari Raya Celebration. God, how I missed those moment. This is my second year spending my Ramadhan and Hari Raya in Brisbane. I missed the fun, the family gathering, the family potraits in the studio, the Hari Raya foods, bla.. bla.. bla.. anyhow, during my 6 days stay in Brunei, I try my best to eat what ever I want to eat, visiting my families while being sick and do a bit of last minute shoppings for my kids. The sad thing is I wasn't able to visit my mom's grave and read the 'Yassin' for her. I just pray in my heart may God Blessed her Soul. I was sick the night I arrived in Brunei, coming home with swollen feets and I can't walk, can't put on my slippers and shoes, can't drive my car and I have to stay in bed with both of my feets elevated. It takes me almost 4 days to recover and I am still limping.
Anyhow, I managed to take photos of my kids, parents, parents-in-laws, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and my grandma. Some of the pics are ok and some are not. Wish I can take more pictures of them in the future. I was playing with my new toy Canon EF-S 50mm f1.8 II. The outcome is really cool but of course I do need more practice. I also remember last week, we played 'Bunga Api' almost everynight. Happy moment for me.
Tonite, I am alone.... feel sooooo lonely without them. I am not sad eventually but I feel empty. Living alone in my apartment, makes me feels crazy. My kids and my beloved partner were used to be here but now, they are in Brunei. From the date today, I have 8 weeks and 2 days to go before I go back home. I am counting the days. I know that I have been here for 4 days, but I wish I could go home and be with them. My kids needs me and I need them too. I wanted to cherish them with my love. Sacrificing for the sake of my family future is my main motivation. I wanted to be success in my life 'Dunia & Akhirat'. I wanted my kids to have a good upbringing.
To my beloved babies (Intan & Azib)... I will always missed and loved you...

I am back...

Today I arrived in Brisbane around 4.43 am (Brisbane time). My God, having a 7 days holiday in Brunei is just like seconds. Time is really fast. Was really sad leaving my family back home, but I am more prepared now. I know that I cried yesterday at the airport when I entered the departure hall. I prayed to Allah, that my family will be in good hands especially my two kids. This year will be my second year, missing the Hari Raya celebration in Brunei. Counting the days... feel so lonely... keep on wandering about my kids, are they going to be ok or not. May Allah Blessed them all... hope to see them in 2 months time

My New Equipments...

After so many months, now I have 2 new equipments in my new embarkation in photography. I bought a new Canon lens 50mm f1.8 (Aud$120) and a Lowepro EX160 bag (Aud$37). So proud of myself even though 'sekubit saja'. I tried it out, and the outcome is really cool. Now I am looking for victims for my potrait photos. My nieces and nephews... hahaha here I come.... 'sediakan muka kamu ahhh'

Thanks to Chie (Brisbane Wedding Photographer). She took our pictures last week in QUT Garden Point and Botanic Garden in Brisbane City. All the pictures are really awesome especially my daughter.

Mental Health Interactive presentation

Roohi - 'kepada yang berkenaan, paham-pahamlah perangainya ;)'

Helen - leardership, confident and listen to other people opinion

Today we have our Mental Health Interactive presentation. Our group members are: Roohi, Trish, Shamilah, Helen and my self. I managed to take their photos while waiting for our tutorial time. It is a big relief indeed after the presentation was over but we have to wait till week 10 to have our result. Anyway, I don't have to worry anymore because it was done. About our result, cross finger, hope we could get credit 6, 'kalau berlebih markahnya Alhamdulliah'. I can totally forget about my study during my mid-semester break next week and enjoy myself in Brunei.

My 'Lating' girl. My God, she is so non-stop talking. This pic was taken on 1st September in Cultural Centre Bus Station, South Bank. We were there to watch the River Festival FireWork shows.

To: Along and Azib (Brunei)

Hello dear,

This pic was taken on the 19th August 2007, in Brisbane International Airport. This pic will always remind me how sad I was when both of you leaving me and Intan in Brisbane. We have been always together all the time. Hoping to see you both soon. I missed you so much and will always love you both.

Hello everybody....

Its been a while since I updated my blog. Study commitment slowed me down with my photography hobby. Most of the time I stayed at home with my daughter. Yepp... hubby and my little boy went home to Brunei about 4 weeks ago due to family problem back home. Both of them had been staying in Brisbane for 6 months and 2 weeks. So sad though because I have to part with my beloved little boy. Anyway, life goes on. Fortunately my daughter is here with me. At least I have someone here in Brisbane. So, starting August, I haven't been able to go around Brisbane to get photos and practicing my photography. So, not much new photos at the moment, but I managed to take my little daughters' photos. We spend most of our time at home, watching cartoons most especially and of course I am busy with my uni assignments, which will be over soon (1 major assignment due 19th October - still have more time). Anyhow, I am hoping to go back home to Brunei on the 23rd September. So, another 4 days to go. I am really excited because I missed my hubby and little son. My daughter will be going home for good, she will not coming back to Brisbane on the 30th September, because she have to stay in Brunei. I have 6 days vacation in Brunei. So, I was thinking to get some photos and was hoping within those 6 days, I will be able to take my family gathering functions, maybe going to the 'Gerai Ramadhan' and might be also going to some places... if I have time... if not... well, will leave that plan till I come back home in December.
