Dingin....

Running... round and round

Trying some panning photos, somebody told me, if you want to do some panning practice, go to the playground and shoot the kids while they play... as for me, I just shoot my kids while they were playing in the park. The more I do it, the better I will be and of course I need more time to be able to shoot a panning photos like those pro out there...

Colourful

Taken at Roma Street Parkland playground. While the kids were playing I took this picture. The colour are so vibrant and I am practising my photography skills here. Trying to understand about shutter speed, aperture and exposure and experimenting on it.

Yellow Stamen

A close-up photo of a flower (I don't know the name actually). It looks so beautiful and I was trying my macro skills. Need to do more practise and I have been reading a lot of things about photography. There are so many tips and hints about photography and I am learning it slowly but so far my skills are getting better. The things that I need to upgrade someday is my Canon camera. Wishing to buy either Canon 400D or 30D but I need to ask the pro people which one is the best but from the reading that I had done Canon 30D is much better. As a novice beginner I think I should upgrade my self to Canon 400D but it will depend how I get along with my photography skills. While waiting for the right time to purchase those camera + accessories, I will save some money for my next investment.

Blooming in Winter

I took this picture when I went to visit a friend in School Street, Kelvin Grove. So, on my way, I saw this blooming little flowers growing near a fence in one of the australian house. I loved the colour.

Australia Zoo - Home of The Crocodile Hunter

The four of us (me, hubby, Intan and Azib) went to Australia Zoo on the 3rd of July. Wah..... everybody was excited especially me and hubby salnya selalu meliat dari tv saja about crocodile hunter. We know that Steve Irwin died last year due to a fatal accident (it happened when I was having my mid-semester exam in QUT), anyway, the memories of his works and tv programmes always be in our heart. Me and hubby really admired him. Now, I admired the most is Bindi, Steve Irwin eldest daughter, she will be 9 years old by 24th July... so its going to be a big birthday party for her on that day. Every kids can enter the zoo for free. She is just like her father. Samalah tabiatnya, suka binatang.

Okay, yestearday I woke up at 5 am and preparing everythings for the kids. Then at 7 am we went to the 333 busway in QUT. Then at 7.40 we arrived at Roma Train Station and by 8 am we started our journey by Nambour Express Train to Beerwah. Mula-mula tu a few stops at certain train station then after about 20 minutes our train terus menuju ke Beerwah. Our journey took about 90 minutes by train. During the journey we saw a few beautiful places... especially the Glass Mountain 'The Ape'. Kalau ada rezeki, will go there.... At 9.30 we arrived at Beerwah then disana ada courtesy bus dari zoo menjemput. So, about 5 minutes sampai ke zoo. I paid the tickets... for me Aud$38 (for student), hubby Aud$49 (for adult) and the kids Aud$29 each. The place is really awesome and very big too. We feed the elephants, watching snakes, birds and crocodile shows in Crocoseum. Then by 4 pm baru kami keluar dari zoo. Bought a few soveniors for us and a lot of pictures too.

Our journey going home... at 4.30pm courtesy bus from zoo send us back to Beerwah Station, unfortunately no trains passing by till 6.23pm. So have to wait for the Caboolture bus till 5.10pm. Our journey to Caboolture Stations tooks about 30 minutes. When we arrived there, we have to wait in the train for 20 minutes and by 6.02 pm our journey back to Brisbane started. We stop at every stations which is about 20 train stations all together on our way (sigh!). Arrived in Roma Station at 7 pm. Then have to get the 333 bus to go back to Kelvin Grove. What a journey ehhhh.... CRIKEY!

Here are some pictures taken in Australian Zoo.... and more pics will be coming. Enjoy!

Festitalia 2007

Festitalia is a celebration of all aspects of Italian culture. It was held today 1st July 2007 in RNA Showgrounds, Bowen Hills. Fine food, wine, music, culture, the arts and sport are offered but of course never had the chance to taste Italian foods due to Halal aspects. The foods aroma are really awesome, the kids loved the smell of cheese, barbeque foods and many more. Anyway, we also witness the Roman Gladiator. Grape stomping was also available but haven't got the chance to witness the stomping because too many people and too crowded.
