Adventure to Sea World, Goldcoast.

Sea World entrance...

Tickets booths, near the entrance, as that day was Saturday, so many visitors come and we have to wait for our turn to buy tickets which cost us Aud$33 (offered price for resident, we are considered as one, because we are students, the original pricing is Aud$66)

Just wanna show you people where to get Halal foods, its a buffet type restaurant, so each person (adult) have to pay for Aud$23.95 and the kids, just pay according to their age. The foods are really good, we loved it, and a couple of friends (including me hehehe) tend to have 2nd and 3rd round.

This is Australian Pelican bird, the biggest birds in Sea World, the height up to a man's waist. I took this photos about 2 meters away.... awesome!!

This is Captain Cook's Endeavour Ship and situated near the Dolphin Nursery.

The Sesame Street Beach...

This is Big Bird's Theatre...

This is Bert & Ernie's Big Dive...

The Sesame Street Beach Stage Show.... I just loved Elmo, the red guy hehehe

The sharks, in the underground Shark Bay viewing area....

The fishes... I don't know what is the name...
On the 26th April, me and my friends went to Sea World, Goldcoast. We have been making plans for this journey since weeks ago. So of course we are really excited and really looking forward for this moment. We rent a van (12 seaters van actually), then on that day, me, Hj Rahim + Shamilah & their 4 kids, Ka Surinah and Brother Ahmad started our fun journey. Unfortunately a few other friends can't come with us because of others commitment (especially assignments hehehe). There, I bought a few souveniors, especially the things with Sea World name on it. I even bought two caps, one cap named Bay Shark and the other one is Sesame Street Beach, Grovy. Ok, I put a few pics... so, enjoy....

The cooking activity...

My friends: Rozi, Rosita, Ka Mardiah (yg pakai baju oren, tangan nya saja nampak, mukanya inda nampak) & Shamilah, while they do the cooking things, the hubby babysits the kids ;) Rozi was cutting the shortcrust pastry, Rosita and Ka Mardiah filling the pastry with the cornbeef and Shamilah brushed the pastry with egg.

This is our first recipe, Triple Chocolate Mud Cake... wah the test so sedap mehh... really chocolate flavour test loh... my favourite ;) Top with Milk Chocolate and thin pieces of white chocolate on top.

The second recipe, Teddies' Picnic Pillow, this test good too, the fillings is Cornbeef (bawa dari Brunei) cooked with pineapples, peas and corn.

Third recipe, Kids' Quiches, paling laris hehehe, sorang makan sampai dua biji. A very simple quiche actually, the fillings are beef luncheon added with mushroom, fresh parsley and tomato.

Me and my friends had set up the day today for our gathering and our first ever cooking class. As for my self, I think I am considered to be the cooking instructor hehehe (perasannnn...) I choose three recipes for today, so all the cooking materials was prepared in the morning. My friends come over to my apartment about 2.30 pm. They are Shamilah + hubby + her three kids, Rozi + hubby + 2 kids, Rosita with her son and Mardiah. We do enjoy our gathering because we don't have any other family other than us. So, it is a good experience for us and good eating hahaha... the next gathering could be on the 3rd of May, as next saturday we will have an outing activity. Kalau di Brunei nie, dapat jual sudah makanannya... hehehe

Banana Bread...

A cousin and a friend of mine come over to my apartment in the afternoon. As usual, "boring Sunday" too.... ;) So, my friends bring a few "keropok". We eat it of course. Then I remember, I should bake something I said and off we go making a Banana Bread. It was fun when all of us was together. We were crazy talking and makes lots of fun while preparing this recipe. When the Banana Bread was done, I did the same mistake again, I forgot to get a snapshoot of the bread. Darn! So, when all gone home, what was left hahaha... two slice of Banana Bread.

What a boring Sunday....

I felt really bored today. I tried to concentrate on reading some of my research articles but nothing goes into my CPU. Got another one week to go before my due date the 21st April. Will do something about it later. So... what's for lunch today?? Hemm.... nothing special to cook? Was thinking to cook chicken with oyster sauce with loads of tomatoes + Capsicum + onions. Two in one cooking. I seldom cook vege while I am here. It is time consuming and mind you, I am alone here, so who else will eat my cooking except me. I did took a few photos... the raw chicken and the tomatoes and dadadaa.... but the funny things is, when the chicken oyster was done, I didn't snap a shoot... I terus mamam.... hahahaha....

My New Apartment...

Its been 11 days since I moved into a new apartment. Well it's still in the same place Kelvin Grove, the same building - The village Centre, Tower 3, but a different unit number. Much bigger apartment compare to the previous unit that I had rented months ago. It have one bedroom with one small study room. Very convenient and practical. 11 days living alone.... I used to stared and gazed to the wall of my apartment. Used to talk and sing to myself due to boredom. Well, life goes on.... have to study hard inorder to achieve the dreams. Hemm... for many days, I have been thinking, what am I going to do with my blog. I don't have my DSLR with me. I only have my digital camera. I am not keen to go out just to scout the City and take photos. I am not in the mood now. What else should I do beside studying, doing my assignments and do the house chores? Should I do cooking??? The things that I used to love to do. Baking?? cakes?? Desserts?? what else?? Those things will remind me of the great celebration 'The Hari Raya'. I used to make and sales biscuits and cakes especially the rolls and the layered cakes. I guess I had missed two hari raya festival since 2006. This is not so cool. Anyway, last week I decided to polished my baking skills after many months or I guess almost 2 years now for not baking anything... ;) hahaha... Well, I decided to try a new recipe, a Banana Bread. First attempt so far so good. Received a few good compliments from my Bruneian friends who also lived around Kelvin Grove. I should have taken a photo of my Banana Bread but the aroma was so intense and I can't resist to cut the bread hahaha... funny... and eat while its still hot. So, I hope when ever I try a new recipe, I will take photos and of course will post it here....
