Cucur Pisang

Well, its been more than 4 months staying in Brisbane so we kind of missed a few Bruneian foods. On last Saturday, we went to West End Market (unfortunately, not a single pic was taken because the place is too crowded with people and also dogs, my camera stayed in my bag). The kids like to eat bananas, but the bananas here are a bit expensive that is about $6.99/kg in the supermarket. In the market (Tamu Brisbane ala Tamu Kiaggeh Brunei) we saw a few stalls selling bananas at $3/kg. So, we buy a kilo of bananas and because its been a while that we eat 'Cucur Pisang' (cucur pisang is my favourite back in Brunei, mother-in-law always makes this 'cucur' and the best part is I like the 'Cucur' of 'Pisang Madu' which is very sweet and really delicious if it is fried a bit crispy and a bit of 'hangus-hangus' but not too 'hangus' lah). So, because the bananas here is not suitable to make 'Cucur', we try to find a different species of bananas. Luckily in one of the stall, the farmer sell a Ladies Finger Banana (a.k.a 'Pisang Kapas') so managed to get 8 pieces of that bananas. And last night, I made 'Cucur Pisang'... at last me, 'Bapanya' and the kids really 'makan cucur pisang'......

Psychology

The body of knowledge which defines Psychology as a discipline is basic to an understanding of human behaviour and interaction. Psychological theories, concepts and methods of investigation provide ways of evaluating personal and professional practice. Informed practice can then seek to meet the needs of individuals, groups and communities.

Nando's

At Nandos, you can eat Halal chicken. Here is one of the menu Half Chicken with a Meal (comes with potato chips or salads and a bottle of coke) cost about Aud$12.25. You can choose from mild hot to extra hot flavour but I always ordered a medium hot flavour and I used to add a bit more of those hot chili sauce... forgot the name hehehe. Good place to meet other Bruneian friends especially on Friday because every Friday in Brisbane, the shops will be open till 9 pm (usually till 5 pm daily).

South Bank Parkland II

This is the second time we went here. It is another part of the park. I like the 'Pintu Gerbang'.
